The Last of Thea Harrison's Tarot Card Novellas.
This is not the best of her Novellas. I enjoyed Oracle's Moon more.
This story had too much sweetness and not enough edge for me.
Despite the fantasy setting and the potential of an assassin main character it managed to be very ordinary and at times boring.
But perhaps if someone needs a bit of saccharine romance to cheer them up this would be just the right thing.
