Do you have a see-through or colored comment section?
Does this bother you about it?
It's been bothering me for a while now.
Why does the text have to go all the way to the border of the comment section? Well, it doesn't!
I think I found the code that controls it:
As usual, go to settings and click on the "customize" button in the "blog" tab. Click "edit HTML" and find this code:
To change how far your text sits from the edge of the section just edit the highlighted code. I changed mine from "width: 700px" to "width: 690px".
As you can see bellow it's working for me!
By the way, I don't know if I'm doing this right. Feel free to inform me if I'm doing something wrong. :)
